Overview
DonaraHQ provides the Donara software and related services. During the closed beta, access is by invitation and is provided for evaluation. The software is a release candidate and is not warranted to be production-final.
Acceptable use
Use Donara lawfully and for legitimate fundraising. Do not use it for prohibited fundraising activity, fraud, or anything that violates applicable law or Stripe’s terms.
Payments and fees
Donara charges no platform fee on donations processed through your Stripe account. Payment-processor fees are charged by Stripe and are separate. Any future DonaraHQ software subscription or license is billed separately from your donors’ payments and is disclosed transparently before purchase; you may cancel a DonaraHQ subscription easily.
Your data and your donors
You remain the controller of your donors’ data, which resides in your WordPress database. You are responsible for your own privacy obligations to your donors.
Warranty and liability
Beta software is provided “as is,” without warranties, to the extent permitted by law. Back up your site before installing. Specific liability, indemnity, and governing-law terms will be finalized with legal review before general availability.
Changes
These terms may change as Donara moves from beta to general availability. Material changes will be communicated to beta participants.
